Kathy, the sad thing is that the test IS graded by computers. But there are tests from all over the world that must get graded. And there is a sort of curve.

But yeah, I think 4 or 5 weeks should be more than enough. razz

Thanks again to all for the good wishes! smile

Do you know the most surprising thing about divorce? It doesn't actually kill you, like a bullet to the heart or a head-on car wreck. It should. When someone you've promised to cherish till death do you part says, "I never loved you," it should kill you instantly.

"You told me you weren't like other men," she said, shaking her head at him when the storm of laughter had passed.
He grinned at her - a goofy, Clark Kent kind of a grin. "I have a gift for understatement."
"You can say that again," she told him.
"I have a...."
"Oh, shut up."

Hey! Don't give up.

That means that is something much better waiting for you out there. Don't give up!

You will see. [Linked Image]Positive thinking.

Awww! I'm guessing it wasn't the score you wanted ... I'm sorry to hear that!

But I fully believe in what Maria said, that this missed opportunity will just allow you to be able to take a *better* opportunity which is going to come into your life soon. Keep your spirits -- and your head! -- high. smile

<insert BIG HUG graemlin here>

I work with a bunch of attorneys and there are a few people in the office still struggling with the bar exam, so I can see what you are going through.

BAD SECURITY ALARM! ruining everyone's concentration! grumble

Thanks for all the support. smile I won't actually know my score for a week or so; all the hotline gives is pass/fail.

I'm sure there's something else out there for me too. I just WISH I knew what it could be! help

I'm sorry to hear that the outcome wasn't what you wanted, Rivka. huh

And, like Kathy, I'm sure there's something out there just for you. If not actuarial work, then something related?

Sorry to hear that, Rivka!

Don't worry, though. As they said, positive thinking and you'll see you'll manage a lot.

See ya,

The information that I'll get in the mail soonish will give me a little, very vague idea of how I did. Nothing particularly useful, sadly -- they're trying too hard to NOT tell you anything you could complain about. wink

/me heads back to the classifieds razz grumble
