Hey all, Tomorrow morning (Wednesday) I take the first step of my medical licensing exams. I'm kinda panicking, and I would really appreciate any prayers or happy thoughts that you all might be willing to spare and send my way tomorrow during the test. Thank you all for being such great and supporting friends, Jill (hiding back in the library for some last minutes cramming!)

Jill, good luck! I'm sure everyone here, as well as your friends on IRC, would want to wish you the very best of luck. We're all thinking of you! Just remember: keep calm, don't panic and take your time when you see the questions. Pace yourself over the entire exam so that all parts of it receive equal attention. Hoping to hear some very good news from you very soon! Wendy

Good luck, Jill! I know you'll do great! What time range, specifically, tomorrow?

Thanks for the support! Rivka, specifically the exam begins at 8 am Eastern time and will probably last about 6-7 hours...so anywhere in there is when the happy thoughts and prayers will do the most good. Jill

Ooh, GOOD LUCK, JILL !!!!!!!!!!!
Such a little thing really, a kiss...most people don't give it a moment's consideration. They kiss on meeting, they kiss on parting, that simple touching of flesh is taken entirely for granted as a basic human right.

8 eastern is a bit too early for me (and you don't want any sleepy thoughts coming your way )... but I'll have you in mind when I wake up... and let's see, until noon, my time. Not that you'll need it , but it helped me feel better when I took my test a few weeks back.

jill, DON'T PANIC (that's the closest i can come to large, friendly letters). just be calm, soak up what you can, and go in and do your best. i'm sure you don't actually need my good luck wishes, but you have them anyway. good luck, jill. Paul

Good luck, Jill! Break a leg (no, not literally, even if you're taking surgery at some point it's best not to break the examiner's leg - she or he might take issue with that ). Kaethel

Yeah, good luck from me, too, Jill. Incidentally, I have a final tomorrow, too. But nothing as long and important as yours. My best wishes are with you. Just do it, ok? I know that's easily said, but it's been working for my last 8 exams..... ~Sira

Hey guys! Sorry I've been a little AWOL from the boards lately; I've been back in school and it's been kinda hectic. But I wanted to let you know how my exam turned out since you were all, SO incredibly supportive while I was studying for them! It took them about 6 weeks to get the results back to us anyway - but now I know - I passed!!! Very nicely actually! So, I'm one step closer to actually being the official doctor of FoLCdom. I'm on clinical rotations all year, but hopefully I'll still be able to check in occasionally. Thank you all for your friendship and support! Jill
