Do you know the most surprising thing about divorce? It doesn't actually kill you, like a bullet to the heart or a head-on car wreck. It should. When someone you've promised to cherish till death do you part says, "I never loved you," it should kill you instantly.

I am totally an 80's kid. I won't go into all of them, but I had this thought when I saw the Atari part.

Does anyone remember the boxing game, where the fighters looked like a flat 'w' or a sideways '3'. When you punched the other guy the nose went in. Just compare that with the graphics in these games nowadays! Kids have to feel like they're in the game or they get bored... no wonder we want to live on the moon!

~sunkist (who's cabbage patch kids have been adopted by her neices- birth certificates and all)

BTW, does anybody remember the Munchichi's?

Wow you mentioned boxing game, and I had video game flashbacks. It was all about Street Fighters II and Ninja Turtles at the arcade.

How did I miss this?! I've watched Cheers for practically my whole life! I vaguely remember watching it on primetime. I was so happy when Nick at Nite picked it up in '01.

Ooh, wonderwoman underoos! I was going through a box of old pictures this morning and I saw the cutest pictures of my sister and me - I was about 3 and my sister was 1 (so it was probably 1984) at my Grandpa's house and we were wearing twin wonderwoman underoos and we looked so cute! We were pretending that we were flying. Plus, we were wearing my dad's graduation cap (he was a high school teacher and they dress in academic robes for the HS graduation).
