Is the actress in AKA Superman - the girl who thinks Jimmy is Superman, the same as the blonde lawyer on Parenthood? They sure look similar.

The actress' name is Kristanna Loken, but neither tv.com nor imdb.com list Parenthood in her filmography. I've never seen Parenthood, so I can't comment on how similar the actress in that looks to Kristanna Loken.

I just checked the Parenthood website and they list that actress as Erika Christensen. But they look similar. Thanks Lynn!

Kind of a late response, but since you're a newer fan, Joan, I thought you might find this bit of trivia interesting ...
The role of Penny was originally going to be played by Melissa Joan Hart (who played the title roles in "Clarissa Explains It All" and "Sabrina the Teenage Witch") but she was unavailable when the shooting was scheduled. So they hired Kristanna Loken, who was Justin Whalin's then-girlfriend. Believe it or not, she was only 17 at the time!

How many of y'all knew already that Kristanna Loken played the female killer cyborg in Terminator 3? There was one very creepy scene in a fight sequence with Arnold (the original Terminator) where he grabbed her from behind, then she reversed her hips and wrapped her legs around him, reversed her arms and grabbed her, then rotated her head 180 degrees and ended up facing him. She never changed expression, either.
Her frown was intense enough to break glass. And the only time she smiled was when she tasted someone's blood to see if her victim was on her target list. She nailed that part. A very good actress who hasn't had the opportunities I think she should have had, although her website lists more acting gigs than I knew of.

Dean's mom, Sharon Thomas, was actually in three episodes -- she was the woman who fought Lois for the space rat, and she was also the nun that declared Superman to be a national treasure in JSN. Finally, she was Maisie in the GGGoH.
