I have a list of 10 characters. You have to figure out who they are.

They are all LnC characters. If this goes well, I'll do more.

A ground rule (I made some changes, so READ)

Jonathan was played by more than one character? Who?
I can remember Ellen, Jimmy, Lucy played by more than one character... but that's it! Faulty memory! Remind me...

There were two episodes with young Martha and Jonathan flashbacks. In one episode they made K and Eddie look stupid by dressing them up to be thirty years younger than they were. In the other episode (the Trask episode where he talks about burying the ship) Jonathan had a good-looking young guy in the role. (No offense, James.)

Rumor has it that Henderson not only was played by three different actors, but also changed races along the way. I'll have to rewatch season 1 to confirm.

Also Ching was played by one actor in season 2 and a different actor is season 3. (Or was that seasons 3 and 4?)

I've come up with more questions. The pain killers are working.

If you mean people that are in their own time AND not in the 'present' AND we are seeing them, then the answer is #1 (We see Jonathan Kent as a young man).

Q1 I really don't do cannabalism thinking very well. It sort of turns my stomach. So, a different way of looking at this question would be: First one Voted off the Island would be #7.

It may be that I had to work 3 hours overtime last night. It may be that I didn't get enough sleep, so if my response sounds grumpy, I am really trying my best not to be.

Simply throwing out names is a quick way of killing the game for me.

Don't guess unless you are reasonably certain that you know who it is. Guessing two persons for the same is not a way to decide which one is the correct one. Ask a definitive question that will answer it for you. I realize that can give it away to someone else, but we should be happy when we help our fellow FOLC. Similar to the guess the hangman game that we had for a while.

If you see a Lois Lane, you will not normally be seeing anyone else on the same popularity level. Honestly, Jonathan Kent was a fluke to have with Lois. Most only have one really populare one, one or two semi popular ones and a "who was that?" kind of person. Everyone else falls inbetween, but have a chance of being discovered if the right question is asked.

Also, please try and read the previous posts before guessing. #5 was already guessed correctly as Alice White.

And use the Recaps. I know I was late last night, but I was stuck at work and I was working my butt off. I can't tell you the number of times I had to travel between two different floors to access two different user's workstations to try and resolve an issue (after three hours we gave up. We will be starting again as soon as I get to work in less than an hour.


Sorry, had to vent about that....

Anyway, none of Classicalla's or GuineaPants' guesses were correct.

So let's get into the spirit of the game.

BTW, I loved your reasoning on guessing Jason Trask, even though it was wrong, in the last game Classicalla. I have wondered what was behind a correct or even incorrect guess and you did a beautiful job.

How about we try this. For direct guesses, like, 'is #3 so and so?' give the reason or clue that lead you to that guess. It would be interesting to hear the thought processes behind the guess.

Okay, James.... I was tired, too, after having spent the evening at work fending off a very confused 89 year old female who was determined to beat the crap out of me because I wouldn’t let her go home. I usually work with teenagers so as you can imagine, I was quite out of my element. But there *was* reasoning behind my guesses.

Cat Grant - I would consider her very beautiful (as much as Teri Hatcher) and she was only in one season.

Cat Grant - Again, I would consider her beautiful even though her character may have taken away from her beauty. She’s well known and might be more well known than #10. She definitely is a fibber. I don’t much keep up with tv these days, but she might have been on tv....

And #2 or #6 had to be Lois and two other people had guessed #6, so I guessed #2.

Angela and Zara (as Sara) worked at The Daily Planet and both were female. # 9 can’t be Lois. # 9 also can’t be Cat Grant because there is already one of the top ‘players’ on the list and with Lois and Jonathan there is already two of those on the list.

I thought all of the #10 clues point to these guys (as well as others) so I guessed Toyman and Fat Head - although on retrospect, Fat Head may have been well known.

Some people consider Bruce Campbell to be really good looking and I even read one article that stated that he would have made a better Clark / Superman than Dean. :rolleyes So I figured since he was rich and good looking that he would bring big money at a bachelor auction. He’s a criminal and brilliant so why not be into the Wiki thing? He did *try* to be a leader but Mindy was better. I can pick a lock so I’m sure he can.

Hmmm.... So if # 2 and # 6 are equally beautiful and both are played by Teri Hatcher, I would have thought # 3 would also be played by Teri Hatcher, but # 3 isn’t played by her. But two other women that are considered two of the most beautiful women in the world have been in the show. They were both single (or assumed to be so) at the time. Neither were paid by taxpayers. There is only one, though that I think is usually very tan. So is # 3 Diana Stride (played by Raquel Welch)?

Was # 4 in more than one episode? Shsshh... And what woman (except for maybe Mindy and that was all an act) wants to be known more for her beauty than her brains? (Not a question...) #4 can’t be Mayson, who might want to be more known for her beauty, but she isn’t a criminal and as far as I could find, Farrah Forke is still alive. Raquel Welch (Diana Stride) is still alive.


So, I wracked my brain and spent some time looking at ‘TV time’. I kept thinking, ‘Who else worked at The Daily Planet and dressed for her profession?’ Then I wondered what profession would be more easy to tell by the clothing someone wore. Well, lots of people wear business clothing and that includes most everyone at DP. Then I realized that a housekeeper might be more noticeable than someone in a suit. So is # 9, Rehalia?


Did # 8's and # 10's characters ever meet each other?


I do these puzzles called Logic Puzzles and I generally get everyone right, but not always on the first try. Give me enough clues though... But here we have a bigger playing field, so to say, so it is much more difficult. Thanks.

Went to visit my Dad, so I will be posting answers later, but I had to comment on this.

When Elisabeth and I were dating, we were part of a clown troupe (imagine that...) Anyway, we went to a retirement home that specialized in care for alzheimer's patients.

Elisabeth was in costume and one of the residents, an older woman, squealed with delight and started calling out "Dolly! Dolly!" and then proceeded to try to underess her new 'Dolly'! Needless to say, the rest of the troupe and the two clean faces intervened.

I was only gone for a half a week and you practically have this one solved. I'm so glad you think that St. John isn't an attractive bachelor.

I'm thinking that our last baddy is from Wall of Sound, The Prankster, Operation Blackout, A Bolt from the Blue or Metallo. You ruled out Lenny Stokes and his former science guy is wimpy, not a trusted Lietenant. The Prankster is one of my least favorite shows, but I think there is a trusted assistant. Operation Blackout featured Lone Ranger types, not trusted assistants. Resplendant Man wasn't the most desirable dude, and he was a Lone Ranger good-guy wannabe. Metallo featured a cyborg, which I believe you've ruled out. There were some trusted assistants, though.

So I should ask some question that will help us decide if he assisted the Prankster or Metallo's creators. I would ask if it was a science episode but that doesn't narrow it down. Hmmm... perhaps a different tactic?

1) Is he blonde, brunette or redhead?

2) Does he shop in the big and tall section?

3) Is he desired as a bachelor (assuming he's a bachelor) because he's brawny, bright or goodlooking?

4) Is his net worth in the middle class, above or below?
