Aramis: Yes, sorry.
Athos: No, no, by all means, let's keep things suicidal.

I edited my reply in the previous thread. It *has* to be correct now!!

If you allow me, I'll post the next phrase. It's a very short one:

---/------/----/---------?

How about E?

Do you know the most surprising thing about divorce? It doesn't actually kill you, like a bullet to the heart or a head-on car wreck. It should. When someone you've promised to cherish till death do you part says, "I never loved you," it should kill you instantly.

Yes, the old thread has now been set to read only.

Er...let's think (quickly, because I'm supposed to be getting ready to go vote and Stuart will kill me if he discovers I'm trawling the mbs instead <G>)...

I?

If she had to move heaven and Earth, perhaps come back to haunt Perry and explain the story after they'd killed her, she would do it.

Sorry for the delay. Two phone calls, AND my best friend got online for a while and we had a good time talking. And then I had to find a good phrase . . . it's hard!

----,/---/-----/----/------/----/-/----+-+----/------/-----/------/-------------?

The + signs mean that it's a hyphen, lol. Since we are using the hyphens for blanks . . .

Ahh, I always forget--see, my semester finished two weeks ago--last week was finals. I just stayed after a week for a special class. We begin early in the year--which is nice, because that means that we have a headstart on summer jobs. wink And I'm SUPPOSED to be packing . . . blush

And here are the requested O's, which really ought to help things:

-OIS,/--O/-O---/-NO-/------/---N/-/-OO-+-+-I--/---N--/--O--/---O-S/I----SON--O-S?

I'm up, just had my last final today so I'm overtired and wired LOL! wink

My brain is fried for obvious reasons at the moment so I'll go with an obvious choice and pick L?

It does appear that people are up--just busy with schoolwork. I'm quite glad I'm done. laugh (Well, all but that one class I'm doing as an incomplete . . .)

I think that obvious choice will help in other ways:

LOIS,/--O/-O-L-/-NO-/-E--E-/---N/-/LOO-+-+LI-E/--EN--/--O--/---O-S/I--E-SON--O-S?

Lol, I only gauged the Aussie awake time by when everyone gets on my favorite chat channel (on the one program that can get though the restrictions my uni's f/w has)--I think I forgot how far away Australia is from the Americas . . . Definitely off. But yeah, about three in the morning my time is when the "night crew" comes on, as they jokingly call themselves. I guess that's when they get home from work?

H and R added (the R is especially good, I think), and A added in upon spotting Simba's post:

LOIS,/WHO/WO-L-/KNO-/-E--ER/-HAN/A/LOOK+A+LIKE/A-EN--/A-O--/-A-O-S/I--ERSONA-ORS?

LOL I'm just gonna try guessing the letters I *know* are there and hope they help to fill in the 2 words I can't figure out!

I know which episode it is from wink (and also the quote), but since I'm VERY busy (and since it's getting kind of late here for me to stay awake), I'll let someone else guess.
You can find it on the scripts. wink

LOL . . . sorry, had to go downstairs to give something to someone--should have stayed here, lol. DocJill, quite correct. laugh And it's from a well-known eppy too, everyone's favorite to rewrite (or to read rewrites of), TOGOOM . . . laugh I was attempting to pick a quote people wouldn't guess so easily. Looks like I succeeded, and everyone had fun, which is the point, hehe. *goes back to packing*

Do you know the most surprising thing about divorce? It doesn't actually kill you, like a bullet to the heart or a head-on car wreck. It should. When someone you've promised to cherish till death do you part says, "I never loved you," it should kill you instantly.

John Doe is a darn nice guy

If she had to move heaven and Earth, perhaps come back to haunt Perry and explain the story after they'd killed her, she would do it.

I'm off to bed - but on the offchance that we leap from 88 posts to 99 before [my] morning - can someone remember to start a new thread at around 90+ posts - that is, before you hit 100 posts? Thanks!

Oh yeah and... O?

What happened to our game?!? AGH I'm going through withdrawal ... if AnKS doesn't come back soon to continue the clues I may actually have to go to *sleep* at a decent hour instead of staying up late playing Hangman!!!!!! frown

I'll be optimistic, guess E and keep reloading the page frantically until the game can continue LOL! wink

(See what happens when the semester is over and *all* I have to do with my time is work my 3 jobs, eat and sleep LOL)

Well, SuperGem, the speed these things are getting solved at, you could probably fit in a brand new game in between times until AnKS gets back with the answers to this one. <G>

Actually, SuperGem, E has already been guessed and AnKS had said there wasn't any. So I guess you can change your guess to something else.

Cheers,
Simba
(whose favourite letter is E too)

EDIT: ooh, ooh, I just became a merriweather, thanks to all the posts playing Hangman. laugh
