Marnie, Jen, both of you are on the right path, but this particular picture is after the part you're talking about. I want to know what she'd just said to make Clark grin like that. And, Jen, she said 'tan your hide like cheap leather.' I always found that hilarious. I mean, how in the world do you spank Superman?!! But he looked worried....(guess that's why it's all so hilarious--Dean sure has a great sense of humor.)

Now this was a wild expression.
This came from "The Eyes Have It." The scene is after Lois finds the laser, thinking it's a non-working pen. She throws it away, but Clark complains about a disposable society. So she hands the "pen" to Clark. He says "Thank you," and then Jimmy and Lois exchange looks. Her eyes widen momentarily, making this a really weird expression in a still.

Here's another funny facial expression. Which episode, and what's going on? What's she holding in her hand (more specific than a piece of paper)? This would be funny in the caption competition.

This is from Lucky Leon, when she and Clark went to his office to ask about his customer, Vorhees(sp?). She's holding a penciled impression from something Leon had written and arguing with Clark that it could be about a shipment of drugs or stolen merchandise. Clark answers, 'or pencil sharpeners'. Specific enough?

Following on same vein of 'I love Martha', what had she just said? And she also says another of my favorite lines during this discussion... Let's see if anyone gets it.

She is talking to Clark about his break up with Lois. Clark says: So what are you saying? I should go crawing back on my hands and knees? Martha says: No, honey. Fly back. It's faster. Oh I love this scene Raquel

Raquel, that's exactly the line I was looking for! Isn't that a great one? I love Martha and this discussion was classic. I like the whole 'unhappy' rambling as well. Could someone post that whole conversation? I love that! Anyway, Raquel, you're up!

Your wish... Spoiler space for those who haven't yet seen all episodes: S * P * O * I * L * E * R * * * S * P * A * C * E * * * MARTHA I unpacked some brownies for now and I'll freeze the rest. Oh and my homemade applesauce is in the fridge, too. CLARK Mom, every time you guys pass through town, you bring me enough food for the winter. MARTHA It's what we do, Honey. Take care of our son with his favorite foods, good advice, and unconditional support. No big deal. CLARK I wish the rest of the world worked that way. A guy makes one, admittedly big, mistake, and suddenly I'm pond scum. Bam! The door slams in my face and the Supreme Court isn't hearing any more appeals. JONATHAN Trouble with Lois, huh? CLARK Remember that great idea I had about breaking up with Lois? 'Cause being close to me put her at risk? JONATHAN Yeah, we were afraid that wouldn't sit too well. MARTHA You said you'd tell her you were wrong and everything would be fine. CLARK Yeah, well everything's not fine! We're hardly speaking! Don't you think she's making a mountain out of a molehill? (off their uncomfortable silence) Folks? MARTHA Frankly, I have to go with Lois on this one, Clark. Jonathan? CLARK Dad? JONATHAN I have to go with your mother. CLARK This isn't how it works. You're my parents, you side with me. MARTHA We _are_ on your side in the big picture. We want you to be happy and Lois makes you happy. Unless you make her unhappy. Then she makes you unhappy. And that makes us unhappy. JONATHAN Son, love and marriage are a partnership. Both people are equal in the partnership. Bottom line, they make their decisions together. CLARK So you're saying I should go crawling back on my hands and knees. MARTHA No, sweetheart. Fly back. It's faster. And, yup, definitely a classic favourite there. LabRat

Top Copy... just after Clark's press conference to dispute the allegations that he's Superman. He and Lois are talking about how she feels and he says, 'May I make a suggestion?' She answers for him to do so and he suggests they finish what they started... their chess game, then take it from there(meaning their relationship). Is that good enough? And Labrat, you are the 'man'! Or should I say wo-Man?! I do love that scene-it was on today!

Brutal Youth... He's describing Superman's metabolism(aging process). He's repeating, "It stabolizes and slows." And I really should quit for a while, too. But these things are just so tempting.

"Chi of Steel" Jonathan is doing all of Martha's chores while they are visiting Clark. Jonathan has washed Clark's white shirt with his cape and turned it pink. He's busy ironing Superman's cape while Clark queries him about the color and in the process puts a big iron shaped hole in the cape. Lois comes in next and wins the checkers game with Martha. It's from Don't Tug On Superman's Cape. Lois is having a nightmare about their relationship. Clark is "James Bond" and she is just another of his "hood ornaments" Needless to say, Lois doesn't like it.

er...I'll give it a try too by saying season one, I still hesitate on the ep's title, "Green, Green Glow of home" maybe? (ooh! reminds me of Tom Jones song "Green green grass of home". the scene, now I'm sure I didn't got the right ep but...is when Bureau 39 barreled into the Daily Planet Building and want to question Lois and Clark about Superman, and she tells Perry something like "I would agree to their request if they where true, but here, it's like questionning us on an Africa Monkey!!" This is from "Pheromone, My Lovely."
Clark is talking about playing hooky from work. Lois mentions that she had fun in high school. She was a member of the chess club and math club. In the pose she's in in this picture, she is saying,
"What are you saying, Clark? That I'm not a fun person? That I don't know how to have fun?"
This happens just before they get sprayed by Miranda.

Pheromone, My Lovely--- are they discussing what all the fuss in the newsroom is about? Clark suggests they take the day off(play hookey) and Lois says it's a work day. He asks if she's ever done anything just because it's fun... Anyway, she gets upset because she thinks he's accussed her of not knowing how to have fun.

Smart Kids.
Lois and CLark just left this mad scientist office and Clark told Lois he stole the Mentahamin V sample.
She goes in a tyrade like (it's from french version so, bear with me) "you stole it? while he wasn't watching? During an interview you stole what could prove to be an evidence to a defensless witness?"
Clark goes uncomfortable and Lois grabs him by his coat and goes "Ooh! I love it!"

Carole,
In order to post a picture, just find one on the Internet somewhere, get the properties of it (assuming you're using Windows), and copy the URL. The URL will end in the extension of the picture, e.g. jpg, gif.
Then when you reply, click on the Image button, which will pop up a window showing "http://" hilited. Just paste the picture's URL and hit OK. To see the result, use the Preview Post option.
If you need practice, try pasting a picture in the "How To's" section.
I'm sure this is in the FAQ's, but it's faster to explain it here than to search for it.
Hope this helps.

Hi Cyad, The reason that no picture has posted is that what you put between the [img] codes is a web page URL, not a photo URL. The URL you included is this: http://homepage.oninet.pt/119mcw%20/loisclark/loisclark.htm which leads to David Planche's Lois and Clark page. To post a photo, as Roger explained, you need a photo URL, which will end in .jpg or .gif. So, taking this URL: http://homepage.oninet.pt/119mcw%20/images/lc_down.jpg and putting it between the [img] tags, I get this: Wendy

Sorry to eat up bandwidth guys, but as a note to Carole, the URL you pasted was a web page (extension ending in .htm) rather than a picture file. On the page you pasted, I right clicked on one of the pics in the webring and selected properties. I used the mouse to hilite the URL, which is: http://destinyy.com/lcwebring/lcwrani2.GIF and copied it. I'm not going to put the image here, but give that one a try in the How To's section and see how it works. Sorry again, everyone for using up an off-topic post here. [EDIT] Yeah, what Wendy said. I posted this before I noticed Wendy had already done it. Nice picture!

I think they're at Star Labs in the episode "Through a Glass, Darkly," trying to find out the location of the person who sent transmissions that sabotaged the space station. Lois is lamenting that villains always seem to be around Metropolis, rather than more exotic places like Maui, Aspen or Monte Carlo.
