...I need your help! To have Kerth Quizzes, we need Kerth Quiz writers. (As Tempus is fond of saying, "Duh!")

And yet, you may be asking yourself, "What exactly is a Kerth Quiz?"

Saturday 2 February – Best Drama (including tearjerkers) - amberlea

*Tuesday 5 February - Best Super Short (1 – 10K) - Classicalla

*Friday 8 February - Best New Author - Classicalla

Monday 11 February - Best Original / Supporting Character

*Thursday 14 February - Best Relationship (Over 50K) – Darth Michael

*Monday 18 February - Best Alternate Universe / Elseworld/Next Gen Story - Darth Michael

*Thursday 21 February - Best Short Story (11-50k) - Classicalla

*These quizzes have been claimed.

I will post the full instructions and guidelines before the first quiz.

What no "Best Epic (200K+ words)"? Although, I guess there aren't that many of those, are there?

I'll try my hand at a quiz this year. If I may take "Best Comedy", as I think it will take me 3 weeks to prepare as I have no idea what I'll be doing. (kind of a backwards apology in advance.) Also, is there a word count limit for this topic?

Is there a list yet of stories from which to choose my quotes?

As for Best Epic, well, I wouldn't want to be the one trying to write that quiz!

There is no word limit for Best Comedy, but by nature they are typically on the shorter end of the spectrum. And no worries, you'll do fine!

The list of eligible stories should be up soon.

Um... I can take a whack at Best WAFFy perhaps? Since those are relatively short. Bear with me though, as I never did one before, but last year's quizzes were fun and I figure, eh, what the hey. I'm in the mood for WAFF right now anyway.

Thank you, Mouserocks! No worries, no one will come after you with pointy sticks or anything. It's all for fun.

It should be the perfect way to get a WAFF fix!

Here's the deal. The Kerth Quizzes are going to be much less interesting if I'm left to write more than half of them. (Trust me. I'm certain I'm not as funny as I think I am!) :p

Even after the first quiz is posted, I will gladly take more volunteers! It's much more fun when more people participate!

Oh my!! This Thursday, you say? Oh boy.

Do we have a story list up yet? Or am I just going to have to scramble? I can scramble, but in scrambling I might be a day late in posting it (suddenly realized I have work Thursday so it might be a little late anyways... but at the very latest it'll be up on Friday.)

The raw data has been sent to Tricia, but as she's out of town until later this month, I imagine the eligibles story list won't be posted till then.

Mouserocks - I'm sorry we don't have a story list! That does make it tougher. If you need some help compiling a list of stories, let me know. And don't worry about it if you have to post a day late. No pointy sticks, I promise!

It's not the complete or official list, but you could get it here: http://www.lcfanfic.com/ficdatabase.html . If you filter it by UPLOADMONTHYEAR you can get a big chunk of the eligible stories.
