A very difficult quiz indeed. I hope I got my answers correct.

Quotes:
1.- Morgan? No idea?
2.- huh
3.- "It's All Rather Funny" - EL
4.- "Not Even Chocolate" - Mouserocks
5.- "Green-Eyed Monster" - me
6.- "Me, Myself, & You" - Anti-K

Excerpts:
1.- "Hunt for Red October" - Deadly Chakram
2. - ?? by Morgana?

As I said, a very difficult quiz. If anyone other than me gets #5 correct (and I'm the one who wrote those lines and I almost didn't recognize them), I think they should get bonus points. wink

Recommends:
"Distraught" - Mouserocks
"Just Say My Name, Clark" - Deadly Chakram
"What Is Eternal?" - Deadly Chakram
"The Last Son of El" - Deadly Chakram
"I Sense That I Love You 1: First Touch" - Anti-Kryptonite
"I Sense That I Love You 2: Second Sight" - Anti-Kryptonite
"I Sense That I Love You 3: Hearing Three Unspoken Words" - Anti-Kryptonite
"I Sense That I Love You 4: Four Scents Worth" - Anti-Kryptonite
"I Sense That I Love You 5: Fifth Taste's The Charm" - Anti-Kryptonite
"And Then There Was Light" - Anti-Kryptonite
"Lethal Qualities" - Anti-Kryptonite

Sorry, Morgana, I haven't had a chance to read any of your stuff. I haven't even made it through all of Anti-K's or DC's stuff yet. (so many stories in this catagory alone, so little time).

Good, yet, tough quiz!

From the excerpt I'm guessing that #1 is Deadly Chakrum's Dexter crossover. Otherwise, I just don't know.

It may help to know that some of the stories aren't on the archive yet so you have to also look here on the board. I know that makes it harder, but in some cases, I had no choice. blush

I'll add an extra point for anyone who spots something different or unusual about the quiz and PM's or emails me. Don't post it here. smile1

From the quotes:
First, an upfront confession: I don't actually recognize any stories from the quotes. Everything here is a guess.

1 I'll go with Morgana as the author, based on the name in the quote. And if the author is Morgana, the story would have to be "The Ring."
2 "Lethal Qualities" by Anti-Kryptonite?
3 "It's all Just Rather Funny," by El?
4 "Green-Eyed Monster," by VirginiaR?
5 "Distraught," by Mouserocks?
6 "Titans," by Deadly Chakram?

From the excerpts:
1 Nothing
2 Nada
3 Sounds familiar, but zip
4 The bull-pen rules out GEM. I'll change my guess to, "Just a Little too Far," by VirginiaR.
5 Zilch
6 This sounds very familiar, but I am placing for sure. "Me, Myself, and You," by Anti-Kryptonite.

And here I thought that, with only six authors represented, this would be an easy quiz. Silly me.

If I got any points on this quiz, it was purely by chance. Fun quiz, anyway.

Lynn

Okay, so I decided to join the quizzes after all! I know I'm awfully late, but at least now I've done a little more reading and I *think* I might have a better shot...

Excerpts:

#3: It's All Just Rather Funny by El (the only one I'm sure of - and I should have gotten it from the quote, too).

#5: Green-Eyed Monster by VirginiaR (I haven't finished reading the story yet and I haven't encountered any fires so far, but I'm pretty sure of that excerpt).

I *could* assign names from the list randomly but I know I'll end up looking like a fool :p so yeah. These will do.

Here are the point totals at the end of Quiz # 7:
(Not that I'm counting or anything - or have a chance to catch up with Anti-K in this century)

Quote
And the cumulative scores are:

*AntiKryptonite has almost disappeared from sight, leading the race with an amazing 101 Dalmatians! I mean points!
*VirginiaR has climbed to second place with her 63 points.
*Deadly Chakram has fallen a little behind with 59 points, but still holding on to the medals.
*Female Hawk keeps at close watch with her 56.5 points.
*Ultra Woman remains at fifth place with 44 points.
*Lynn S. M. is closely following with 40.5 points.
*Darth Michael leaps forward with a total of 30 points, over double his previous score!
*scifiJoan is going slowly but steadily, now at 17.5 points.
*Mouserocks didn't want to let go of the rear and as such has remained at 7.5 points.
*LnCroxmysox steadily remains at 0 points.
Who's still amazed I'm not the only one to get #5 right. jawdrop

*Virginia R. remains in second place with 72 1/2 points.
*Deadly Chakram continues in a solid third place with 68 points.
*Female Hawk is still biting at Chakram's heels with 65 1/2 points.
*Ultra Woman remains at fifth place with 46 1/2 points.
*Lynn S. M. is closely following with 43 1/2 points.
*Darth Michael has a respectable 36 1/2 points!
*scifiJoan has 18 1/2 points.
*Mouserocks is still at 7 1/2 points.
*Anna B. The Greek enters the fray with 5 points.
