When did Clark first 'land' in Smallville? Anyone know what time of year? Was there ever a date said for Clark's supposed birthday? Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Clark's official birthday is Feb. 29th, according to Never on a Sunday. And he crashed in Smallville on May 17th (Tempus Fugitive).

Probably, what the doc did to estimate his age was to measure and weigh him and compare it to other kids via the growth charts. These charts, for infants, toddlers, and children, at least, can give you an approximate age based on height and weight. But since they're based on averages, whether or not his 'official' birth date is anywhere close to his actual is anybody's guess. If the baby is 'big' or 'small' at birth, it kind of throws off the system.

This question was discussed in a few previous threads:

The last thread started life as FDK for a story of mine (the very first L&C story that I ever wrote -- almost the first story of any kind that I ever wrote), but includes a discussion by several authors of Clark's birthday.
Perhaps you'll find something useful in one of the threads.

As has been discussed before, the script had Clark's birthday as Feb 29 - only there WAS no 29th day in February. It was corrected to the 28th when it was filmed.
