Okay, FoLCs, there are New Yorkers, Angelinos, Londoners, Washingtonians, so what is a person from Metropolis called? A Metropolitan? A Metropolite? Is there cannon on this? Any ideas?

The only time such a word was mentioned in canon, it was "Metropolean". But that was said (in "Home is Where the Hurt Is") by Mindy Church when she was doing her "dumb blonde" routine, so I wouldn't put too much stock in it.

If I had to choose, I would say they were probably Metropolitans.

There was a TV program celebrating Superman's 50th anniversary back in the eighties that called them "Metropolosians." But the program was somewhat tongue-in-cheek...

Whenever Superman has addressed the public, it has always been "Citizens of Metropolis." Perhaps the writers of the show got stuck like you, and so they never formed an official town citizen name like that. huh

An excellent point, Lady Moira. Not absolutely definitive, but very strongly suggestive.
