I'm looking for a fic and have been searching the archives, but dang, there is a LOT of fic there!

It's season 1 or 2ish and Lois and Clark are sent to interview a 'club' or group of people who insist that Superman lived among them before becoming Superman. They have regular meetings, I think. The lady from the crosswalk in the pilot episode is one and the worker down the manhole is another. Lois starts picking up on the coincidences and I can't remember anything else beyond that.

I remember the story. It's a 'club' of people who were rescued by Clark either before he wore the Suit or when he wasn't in it, and the purpose of the club is quite benign - to remember that they were saved by a handsome young man who wouldn't stick around for thanks. It's a great story, and I wish I could remember the author's name or the title!

Yes, that's it! And Lois starts figuring it out that's it's Clark and I think during one of their interviews, Clark has to go do a rescue and tells Lois he is going for a walk but then Lois can't find him 'walking' anywhere. I've been searching the archive for weeks for it but I keep getting waylaid because I think "oh I want to read this one again' so hopefully someone can help!
