LOL! OTOH still isn't finished and neither is the sequel so I'm afraid posting what I have in one shot would be even more frustrating  . UP - hopefully - will be finished this week and then back to OTOH to finish it. And if it's not finished early this week, probably back to OTOH anyway b/c I *will* run out of buffer next week [early Dec]. The last chapter - well, the one I'm currently writing - jumped 4 months unexpectedly, which is hurrying them along towards the resolution in the sequel faster than anticipated, but I'm not sure that jumping that far ahead is a good thing... /sigh/ But I can't really ask because that's giving too much away... There is potential for, if not a sequel, then a companion piece [sort of along the lines of LtL: Lucy's Story, but not quite]. There's also sequel possibilities, but that one's more likely as all I've got for the sequel is an A plot thing and everyone knows I hate A plots... There's also one that's been on my HD for nearly two years that I'm anxious to work on again... Everyone who's read what I have *loves* it but it needs major overhauling in parts so... Carol

For a sick round-table discussion sometime: So I had this dream last night that they broke the ice and started talking...and wow, Clark felt all this guilt because he wound up with a rich in-law and a beautiful wife and child, while Lana is having a crappy outcome of the situation with Tim...and Clark got Lois an awesome anniversary gift...although why it contained a Spessartine Garnet is beyond me... JD

Tonya, we have a buffet of Double Fudge Crunch Bars, Ding Dongs, and Cream Soda over there by the wall. There's also some Double Choco Chocolate Chip ice cream  James, how did you manage to stop with part 71? There's 72-75 still out there? /looks innocently while trying to hide the pointy tail and the horns. Michael, who recommends public transportation for getting to work and a mobile phone with GPRS capabilities.

Sorry to hear that, James. But if it helps, being able to refrain form reading them illegitimately after reading 6 parts means you're doing very well with being strong. /hands James an achievement badge /checks mission briefs about Surveillance Carol 1 Hmm, was the guy dish-water blond, built like a cross between the coke-guy and Dean Cain and going by the name of Jack? If so, then it could be a problem with the switchboard not being plugged-in yet at our surveillance center upstate. You know, he was actually supposed to wait until *after* we were done on our end, but if he got the other job done sooner  You know how it goes. Finish all surveillance ops by Thursday and have a long weekend down in Florida  Michael

LOL! Phone is working again... Only managed a couple hundred words yesterday but did order a new TV/TIVO and am VERY excited about that! And that was online not in person or over the phone... hehe Carol

Carol, great to hear and on a slightly more FoLCy note: Great to hear about the TiVo. Now you can record all the shows for until AFTER you're done writing OTOH and UP and Sequel to TVOS  Nancy, drugs bad. Don't do them Especially Fic. It's like chocolate for Lois. Um, you do realize it's been like 6 years since VOTS right? I read what I found of the sequel [like 10 pages], cringed, and realized I had no idea what I had planned for it. I know what I'm planning on working on when I'm done with OTOH and UP and it's not that... So sorry . Next chapter of OTOH is almost done - finally - some of the wording... argh! And I've already got a TIVO, this is just a new one . Carol
