Interesting read. It's just a shame that she seems to have missed the fact that fanfic is written by authors of widely varying ages and is not just a 'teenage obsession' that we all grow out of eventually.

Although this was pointed out to her in the comments and she did acknowledge it was an omission she should have included in the article.

Still, even at that, nice to see a piece that thinks it's a teen obsession that should be pursued and encouraged and will provide useful skills in the future.
