Does anyone know if there is a last name given or traditionally used for Jack - the boy who broke into Clark's apartment and sold the globe to Luthor in the first season?

I've made one up for now, but if there's one that's been used before, that might be better.

Thanks!

I believe that according to the script, his last name is Minor.

I don't think he was ever given one. I checked the four scripts in question, and they just say Jack.

No as to whether there is a standard name for him I don't know.

When I checked Wikipedia to see what comes up when you search for Superman and Jack: edit-(pay attention to what you're reading when using wikipedia) Jack Larson portrayed Jimmy Olsen in Adventures of Superman. Jack Kirby created a lot of characters in the golden age of comics, including some for Superman.

I have him as Jack Miner in the character database. I'm sure it was in one of the scripts (in one of the descriptions, not at the top). If I find it, I'll let you know. It could also have been in the Imdb entry, but now it only gives the first name.

Got it: Lois and Clark Archive
Now, where did they get it?

Hmmmm. I'd hesitate to take Miner as canon without knowing the source of the info. OTOH, it's as good a name as any to use.

Aramis: Yes, sorry.
Athos: No, no, by all means, let's keep things suicidal.

Perhaps the use of Miner is because when he is introduced, he is a minor?

This series was big on using names that sounded like something the character was or was involved with- Leit?

I completely forgot I posted this, so sorry I didn't reply sooner. (No good excuse - I just haven't been sleeping well which translates to poor brain function and apparently poor memory.)

Thanks for all the help!

Thanks, Dandello for finding a name. Given the importance of this (essentially none) it's fine with me that we don't have a source. I just wanted to use Jack's full name somewhere and thought I'd use the real one if there was one.

Thanks again for all the help!
