2007 Pulitzer Local Reporting

2007 Pulitzer Investigative Reporting

2007 Pulitzer Public Service

Past winners

For Example look back at the 1995 Nominated Finalists

Quote
PUBLIC SERVICE
[Nominated Finalist] Philadelphia Inquirer
For disclosing fraudulent practices in a local election, bringing about the overturn of the election and the reform of many of the city's electoral practices.
Sounds like the type of story Lois would file.

Quote
PUBLIC SERVICE
[Nominated Finalist] Charlottes (N.C.) Observer
For examining the city's declining inner-city neighborhoods, proposing improvements and helping to organize citizens to ward off further deterioration.
This sounds like a Kent story. Very warm touchy feely.

Quote
1994 EDITORIAL WRITING
[Nominated Finalist] Jim Montgomery of Shreveport (La.) Journal
For a series of editorials examining the benefits and drawbacks of drug legalization.
Great series for Perry to be writing while other events unfold.

sounds like a great idea...
keeping copyright in mind..
we could all use these to make our own political statements about personal issues, write a cool fanfic., and use real life events as inspiration, a process that adds lots of heart-wrenching guts to our stories...

and I guess we are of course not limited to those, just the idea is the best...
thanks
