The time is running out to submit stories to the Merriweathers! If you have submitted your story and received a confirmation, thank you. If you have submitted your story but have NOT received a confirmation, please re-submit it to katrinavannote@yahoo.com. We have repeatedly tried to fix the website submission form but it refuses to stay fixed! We've had computer people working on it. Because of that chronic glitch, we are extending the deadline for submissions until midnight tomorrow (Sunday evening). Thank you so much for your patience and thank you for all the submissions! Sincerely, The Merriweather Committee

From katrinalee's fourth post: 3. What is the deadline for this months' competition? When do we need to get our story titles submitted by?
Entries will be taken from Saturday, January 2, to midnight Saturday, February 5. Seems it got lost somewhere in the debate I was wondering, has anyone submitted any stories? I'm interested in participating, but I wouldn't like to end up being the only nominee. See ya, AnnaBtG.
What we've got here is failure to communicate...

I was thinking of sending something in, but I haven't got anything short enough Still, the awards have been useful to me, even without the critiques -- it got me started thinking about writing what became "My Interview with Superman." I'm afraid it went about 1,000 words long, but honestly, I was trying for a very lean and clean style. Anyway, looking forward to seeing the first round of results PJ

Yeah, I submitted one and got a nice reply from Katrina. I hope I won't be lonely . Anyway, I figure feedback is helpful to me. Artemis
