From the "Romantic Times Bookclub Monthly Newsletter" We'll also have the skinny on a new craze called Fan Fiction, where readers make up stories about beloved characters from favorite authors' books. The idea is for readers to come up with their own stories about the characters to share with other fans. For authors who may have some concerns about this, don't fret--it's NOT plagiarism. It's fans getting involved with your books and characters and having some fun. Their stories are not for publication! Anyway, you can read all about it in the Nov. issue. New? Where have they been?

*Chuckle* Have they never heard of a fan zine? The Star Trek fandom had them like, 20 years ago, IIRC.
