Oh, wow! It was an honor just to be nominated, but to have actually won three of them? Thanks, everyone! How neat. ) -- but I hope there will be a transcript put up somewhere so I can find out what I missed. Congrats to all the nominees and winners! And a special thanks to the coordinators for setting it all up. Kathy

Wow, what an incredible surprise! I'm so thilled...and so sad that I couldn't be there! (Stupid work! ) Thanks so much everyone who voted for me and nominated me. I was just thrilled to be nominated and never expected to win...and it's even better because I got to share my wins with Erin and Kaylle, both of whom's stories I just adored. And I was thrilled to see that Sarah won for her TE to Anybody's Baby. I know it cracked me up when she was writing it and asking my permission to post. I'm glad everyone else enjoyed it as much as I did. And a special thanks to the Alt-Kcom who put in so much time and effort to pull this off. Y'all are incredible, and we truly appreciate it! Thanks again! Annie Editing this to add: And another special thanks to Kaethel for graciously accepting my awards for me. On my way out the door tonight I suddenly thought, "Oh! I wonder if I should email someone quickly and ask them to accept for me in case I win." But then I decided it was unnecessary since it was so unlikely that I'd win something. Little did I know I would win twice. So, again, I'm very sorry I couldn't be there, and thanks to Kaethel for standing in.

I'm disappointed to have missed the ceremony - but it looks as though everyone had a whale of a time and it all went well. (Thanks for the log, Sas. <g>) I want to add my congratulations and three cheers, plus a hearty round of applause to Saskia, Anna and their willing helpers, for all of their hard work. I've been able to witness these past months just how much of your free time and sanity <g> you've ploughed into this event and once more I've been awed and thankful that we have FoLCs like you who are willing to do so much just to provide fun for their fellow fans. Well done! And, like Annie, I had completely failed to take into account that I might win something. So a very large thank you to Wendy for accepting the award on my behalf with some inducing compliments to boot. LabRat
Athos: If you'd told us what you were doing, we might have been able to plan this properly. Aramis: Yes, sorry. Athos: No, no, by all means, let's keep things suicidal.

Let me add my congratulations to the winners and nominees, as well as to the Alt-Kerth Committee for their hard work into making this ceremony a big success and a very fun event to attend. I'm still stunned and in shock after last night. Thank you all so much again! Kaethel

Congrats to everyone who was nominated! You all had great stories, videos, etc. Maybe this will help to motivate me to start writing some of my own stuff... Then again maybe not.. Congrats again!

Clark: You are really high maintenance, you know it? Lois: But I'm worth it.
Clark: Not exactly what you had in mind, huh? Lois: Let's see. So far I've been given a glimpse of ritual crop worship, been treated as your girlfriend, and insulted your parents. No, I couldn't have planned this.

The Alt Kerth awards is the first ceremony I've been able to attend (last minute job cancellation ) and it was SUPER! To The Alt Kerth Committee And thank you to everyone who nominated and voted for me. I NEVER expected to win a Kerth Award and was surprised when the Alt Kerth awards was re-introduced. Congratulations to all of the other winners and especially Erin, my co-winner in Music Videos. I know I weighted the scale a bit in shear volume but her "There You'll Be" is great! Thanks Again, Saskia and Anna and everyone else who worked hard to make such a great ceremony!

You realize, of course, that this ruins everything. It's always been my goal to become the Susan Lucci of Lois and Clarkdom. It was my plan to amass the most award nominations without actaully ever winning anything. Now you've gone and spoiled it all by claiming I've won something? I demand a recount. Best Commenter? Does that mean I have to continue to comment too? I was kind of hoping to retire to lurker status sometime soon. I suppose now, the gentle readers and writers think I should hang around and continue to harange them about those 'little' things they continue to forget. Things like WHAMS and haircuts for Lois. The gracious person would thank all those who voted for him and be thankful for the honor... I'm thinking about it... Tank (who still is just a bit miffed about actually winning something... there's just something so wrong about that)

I want to add another surprised thank you to the growing list of them... I *never* expected to win! I'm especially thrilled to be sharing with my pounceuplet Annie, whose work is amazing, especially Standing at the Edge and All Alone. Thank you to everyone who voted for my story, and a *big* thank you to AK-Comm for organising everything! I'm sorry I couldn't make it, but thanks also to Paul who accepted in my stead . And I'll be looking forward to the logs to see all the speeches I've been hearing about.. <g> Kaylle

Ok, let's see, where do I start? First, sorry for being so late; I've been doing some studying (unfortunately, not much ) I want to congratulate all the winners and all the nominees as well, because I believe that being nominated is in tiself an honor. Second, and really important, is thanking the Alt-K comm for tehir hard work all along, with the eligibility process, nominations and, later, voting. Anna, Saskia (and Jana, even if she's no longer a part of the comm) you diud and amazing job with everything and put together a great ceremony (at least the bit I could see). I really am sorry to have missed most of it; I could never regret it enough. I'd invited my friends for lunch but since we're all midway through our finals, they asked me if it could be turned into a late dinner, adn I couldn't bring myself to tell them that it couldn't happen because there was an IRC award ceremony I really wanted to attend Ayway, I want to thank everyone who nominated and votod my story : Motivo... (Reason). This meant a lot for me. I hope you don't mind I also use this folder to thank the people I should have thanked on Saturday: first, the person who, unfortunately, inspired this story, wherever she may be. Thanks as well to Jose for his encouragement adn Tricia, for being there for everyone of my stories so far and, hopefully, for future ones too. I know I couldn't get rid of Jose even if I tried, so... :p And last (I promise), thanks to Bobbet, for helping me with the translation. Without your help, it could have never come so close to the original thing. Thanks a lot! Wow, this is longer than I expected. SOrry guys Cris

I'd like to thank everyone who voted for The Art of Being Clark for the Best Challenge Response story! Wow!! What an honor!! The Art of Being Clark started out as an answer to the fluff challenge but somehow ended up being a bit more than fluff. But anyway, I'm very honored and floored that it won. AK committee: You've done a wonderful job!! Thank you for all your hard and long hours of preparation and sacrifice!! You guys are the best!! Congratulations to all of the nominees and winners! Missy

From Tank: It's always been my goal to become the Susan Lucci of Lois and Clarkdom. I think you forgot that Susan Lucci actually won once a few years ago (May 21, 1999 after a Google search) after losing 18 straight nominations. So you're still in line with one win. To all the nominees and winners, a big congratulations!
