I'm not sure of the protocol here, but that's never been known to stop me. KathyB recommended a story on the Archive while we were "ficless in cyberspace" yesterday and it *is* a really good story. Especially for a first time writer. The story is:

It's funny and waffy and wonderful. I second the recommendation.

I entirely agree, Artemis; I edited that story for the Archive and thoroughly enjoyed it. smile1

Thanks for the rec ... I read it last night while I was supposed to be studying ... ending up until 3 am as a result was definitely worth it. smile Hope to see more from the author soon.

As to the gender of our mysterious new author, I came to a conclusion as I was reading it. I think only a woman would think of those annoying tiny buttons as a plot device. 117 buttons is a lot of buttons. I loved how the dress was like a character.
Of course, Lois *could* have stepped out of it after it was half unbuttoned, but I think she was enjoying herself too much. jump
