New Terran Underground! Yes! I'm very excited. This was a wonderful chapter. I can't wait to see where you go with it!

Good to see you again, "Airlik" By the way, did you ever get the chance to read the Eric Vogleman story that Linda came up with? It happens just after Mousetrap and before Outlaw, and she sent it to me at the beginning of '05. Nan

Ooh, more Terran Underground... it's funny to see Mark & Alan in their "daddy" roles -- and if you ask me, Jen & Marky are already bonded for life PJ
"You told me you weren't like other men," she said, shaking her head at him when the storm of laughter had passed. He grinned at her - a goofy, Clark Kent kind of a grin. "I have a gift for understatement." "You can say that again," she told him. "I have a...." "Oh, shut up."

I am printing these off as fast as you post them, but RL is really hectic right now.
Sorry for the lack of posting comments.

Yeah, I love seeing Mark and Alan as dads--especially Mark since he never had a decent role model. I guess I'm kinda surprised that Mark and Julia's kids are such open psychics. I mean, I know Mark is a power pack and would be a powerful psychic in his own right if he had the controlling gene, but I guess that's what I'm wondering about--where did the kids get the controlling gene? One of those recessive genes, maybe from Julia, I guess.
Anyway, I'm worried about that guy at the spaceport. I keep flinching everytime someone senses a person or being, expecting it to be 'trols, but Alan and the kids would sense them. Hmmm... what's going on here?

If you'll check Crystal Demon, in the part where Julia is interrogated by Halthzor, we've said that Julia is a very good shielder. She's carrying a double control factor, as most people do, although, obviously, not all, and passed along a powerful control factor to her children. Mark Linley's very powerful psychic gene plus Julia Austell's phenominally powerful control factor equals very good psychic kids. Their fine control isn't as good as Marky's who has 2 control genes, but they're still very good.

ok, can breath now... Wow, this is exciting, intriguing and because of Lambert, ewwy. I hope he gets his just rewards, and I don't mean Jilactian money, either! I just find one thing unbelieveable, that Alan would even consider being off-world with his wife 8 months pregnant. (This from a man that flew with his 7 month along wife just to visit her father...) James, who is loving getting back to reading his Nan fic.

Comments for part 4I feel sorry for Mark. Having 4 psychics say that something is about to happen and him not picking up a thing! Too bad they can't permanently make Mark a psychic. Scotty Pinks...short for Scott Pinkerton? This is getting so exciting! How could you leave us where you did? btw, I did pick up that Marky knew that Jen was Jen and not her sister, unlike his father... James

These kids are insane! I loved this chapter. It's driving me crazy reading the kids comments on how easy it'll be to save the Pinks. They have no idea! Can't wait for part 7!

Mark and Alan are hopefully going to tan their collective hides!
Sure, 'their with the Terran Underground', but sometimes the good guys do die. I don't think they know that yet...
Good post!

Very interesting to see things from the Jil's POV. And they think we are cowards!!!
Very brave kids. And it seems that they are soooo close to figuring out that Scotty's mom is really their long lost Aunt Jill.
