More soon please!

~Liz

Lois: Can I go?
Clark: No.
Lois: Oh come on, Clark, why do we go through this? We both know I’m going to go.
Clark: Then why do you ask?
Lois: I’m trying to be nice.

YAY!! Another of Nan's season 1 adaptations! smile1

This is terrific so far. I had to remind myself of the way Pheremone, More Likely left their relationship, since more recently I've been reading the 'Charlie' series from you - but I pretty soon figured out that it's still pre-revelation. Though judging by what you've shown us so far, I have a sneaking suspicion that Lois may start to put things together... wink

You're giving us a classic Lois in pursuit of an investigation - she's asking some great questions about Superman, in a way she rarely did in the series after her initial searches for him. And I like Clark's resolve to ask her for help with the impostor, too. This is shaping up to be very entertaining. thumbsup

More soon!

Yes, what Wendy said... and I also appreciated the humor in this section. The visual of Clark walking on the ceiling, his tie flopping into his face, was just priceless.

Then there's this throw-away line about Lois...

The whiff of smoke from her kitchen reminded her that she had been cooking dinner.

"You told me you weren't like other men," she said, shaking her head at him when the storm of laughter had passed.
He grinned at her - a goofy, Clark Kent kind of a grin. "I have a gift for understatement."
"You can say that again," she told him.
"I have a...."
"Oh, shut up."

Don't like Luthor, unfinished, untitled and crossover story, and people that promises and don't deliver. I'm getting choosy with age.

Nice depiction of the relationship. Their comfort level together is solid.

Good set up for Superman to 'include' Lois into his investigation (and I suppose that would include Clark as well). It should be fun to see Lois working past her 'infatuation reactions' in order to be of some real help to the Man of Steel.

Looking forward to more... quickly.

Tank (who is a little bothered by the computer screen since his eyes are still dialated from his trip to the eye doctor... yes! he can still see... sort of)

Great part.

I love how comfortable Lois feels by just showing up and hanging out at his home when he turned out not to be there.

More!

Nan,
Great start to what promises to be a wonderful story. I'm hooked. I hope you can post more soon.

I love the Lois/Clark relationship. Lois seems likely to uncover some "great truths". I hope so, anyway.

Happy to be hooked on a story. RL's been too stressful. smile1 LaurieD
