/me throws a beautifully ripe, wonderful smelling pineapple at Shadow as a well earned reward.

That was wonderfully written, Shadow, especially for a badfic. Great points and lovely villian.

"You told me you weren't like other men," she said, shaking her head at him when the storm of laughter had passed.
He grinned at her - a goofy, Clark Kent kind of a grin. "I have a gift for understatement."
"You can say that again," she told him.
"I have a...."
"Oh, shut up."

Are we supposed to throw tomatoes at badfics if they're bad, uh, I mean good, uh I mean bad? Oh I don't know. I'll just settle for this: thumbsup

I think my favorite part was when Clark couldn't find Lois, he naturally assumed Lois had been kidnapped by an evil villain. Apparently, Clark's read the evil villain's handbook. smile

Of course the ficus excuse was hilarious, too.

ROTFL, Jen! Very funny! I especially loved that Clark, upon not finding Lois at her interview, automatically assumes she's been kidnapped by an evil villain. goofy ) and especially her clasping the story in her rope burned hands. LOL!

Great job!

Jen, this was hilarious. smile1

Lois: Well, I like my quirks. I think they make me unique.
Clark: You certainly are unique.

Clark: You're high maintenance, you know that?
Lois: But I'm worth it!
