This challenge isn't really my type of thing, but had to check out this one after you were discussing it on irc, Jill. Glad I did. Cider?!?!? ROTFLMAO!!!! Kudos!! And if you missed anyone I'd be surprised. <G> LabRat
Athos: If you'd told us what you were doing, we might have been able to plan this properly. Aramis: Yes, sorry. Athos: No, no, by all means, let's keep things suicidal.

Merry talked too much! This was a lot of fun, Jill! Good grief, we are an insane lot. Hazel, apparently open for business
Lois: You know the deal. Clark: Superman gets the guys in capes, Lois and Clark get the guys in suits.

Jill, I'm seriously rethinking my 'I hate cameos' position after reading this. I was I particularly liked the Luthor's sister section. That explains an awful lot! Chris (who'd like to point out that she would make the world's worst nurse)

OMG, Jill, this is brilliant and so incredibly funny! I almost spewed water at my screen more than once (once again, Annie and the blue cups got me, as did Tank being "the weakest link" <g>, though I think Elena wanting to throw the cops off the building to hear them "Ahhhh, THUD!" got the loudest laugh!). So many cameos, so creative and clever. Great job! (Oh yes, and Merry did talk too much. LOL!) Kathy (who would agitate for a speaking part in one of these but after what happened to Kae and Wendy, I think I'd better hide behind the ficus. )

As they all turned to head into Dr. Klein’s office they heard agitated yelling out in the hall, “Stop! Quit! Don’t!!!” followed by a loud explosion. That was brilliant! I want to absolutely bust out laughing right now, but I'm not the only person in this room. Great job. Jen

Jill, That was so funny! I was LOLing from just about the first sentance! Maybe I should start wearing gloves, too.” LOL, Bernie reminds me of the people in my old lab - the ones that used to make fun of me for wearing gloves when using chemotherapy drugs. Boy did one of the guys feel stupid when he accidentally injected himself with the drug! - Alicia

“No, I don't think it was,” Clark agreed, “but I think they were louder. Especially that Annie.”
“Well, of course she was loud, Clark. She was drunk! She was carrying around an empty bottle of Vodka when they found her, and mumbling something about blue cups…” What has happened to me? I was once a sweet, innocent, quiet member of this community, now I'm raging alcoholic.... Oh well, every community needs one. I'm just doing my civic duty. All in all, fantastic Jill. I was cracking up over and over. I loved it. Annie

Jill, you already know that I think that this little write up is absolutely brilliant. I was giggling so hard when I read it at first that I had to read it a second time to actually beta it. Kudos!

mutter mutter grumble grumble Lesson of the Day: Always paste messages somewhere else before posting in case you go over your graemlin limit and have to hit the back button and lose everything. and , Jill!!!!!!! I loved this! You did a great job blending in a plot with all those -- wide variety -- cameos. I had fun building that barbed wire fence. Especially since we weren't guarding the door! ROTFL! I also loved how some FoLC were captured FoLC and some had their own...interesting...roles in the L&C universe. Bethy (still )

I laughed myself silly! Good work, and keep it up. But one little comment/observation/whatever... Originally posted by LabRat: Kudos!! And if you missed anyone I'd be surprised. Well, um, maybe I missed it, but after a quick read I didn't see any mention of a little black-and-white tuxedo cat named Melisma, or a Melisma Drive, or even a Melisma virus. Guess nobody thinks me worthy of a cameo. Oh well, next time, maybe... Melisma (under her Rock, wondering if she is still considered to be a FoLC)

Ok, I have got to stop reading these at school! This time, the secretary wasn't in the office. But a couple of seniors were -- students of mine. They've always wondered about me; now they know I'm nuts! And when I tried to explain... well, there went any doubts about my insanity! Ok, this time I'm going to try to count... Pam, Meredith, Yvonne, Sarah, Karen, Laurie, me (stalker v. snitch, hmmm, tough choice), Elena
Do you know the most surprising thing about divorce? It doesn't actually kill you, like a bullet to the heart or a head-on car wreck. It should. When someone you've promised to cherish till death do you part says, "I never loved you," it should kill you instantly.

jill! great story! now that was fun. sorry to say i didn't keep track of the cameos... i wanted to stay in the story, not be distracted. really great job weaving them all in like that, not to mention all the acronyms (speaking of which, anyone catch the fact that the story title acronym is MAF? i think maria is the only one who showed up twice), and with a sensible plot, too! great job. Paul edit: just read phil's post, below. didn't want to make a whole seperate post, but... lol at the space modulator. silly phil, though... explosive space modulators are made with illudium q-36. or is it spelled eludium? in any case, i knew what you meant. isn't it dee-lite-ful? just... go easy on the earth-shattering kabooms, k?
When in doubt, think about penguins. It probably won't help, but at least it'll be fun.

I wonder... does this explain "my" arraignment in Wendy's cameo-fest? But I am disappointed at being interrupted in my vital work -- the development of the Unobtainium-Q36 PhoenixKiller Luthor-homing Space Modula tor! And with a test subject in the same building, too! , but not before he presses a large red button. Stay tuned to see what happens next...></i> Phil
