Diana was not exactly too bright(which was another deviation from the comic book canon Wonder Woman who has been shown to have genius level skills in science).
Oh, I'm sure this Diana has a high enough general IQ, but her emotional IQ is zilch. (She must have been asleep when offered 'the wisdom of Athena'.) And being raised in an all female environment isn't an excuse - maybe Queen Mom never let her have a dog...
