Hey! Great feedback, y'all. Thanks.

Lara, it isn't all punches and kicks and concussions and bleeding. There's something else going on, and I hope you can stay with it long enough to figure it out.

Vicki, a wallop was just what I was aiming for. Next part will be up within two days. (I'm aiming for a twice-a-week schedule.)

Frame, you're welcome. But does that mean you are reading or that you're not?

Lovesuper97, I don't know if this is what you think it is. Be sure to let me know what you're thinking, okay?

Katie123, this is the most violent part of the story - I think. And yes, it is PG-13, as is the next chapter (for a different reason), but I believe I'm still on the g-fic side of the line, even if I have scuffed some dirt on it.

Thanks, Tank. I will confess now that although the Amazon Princess is powerful in this story, she's not the WW of the comics. Of course, that also depends on which of the various comics eras you pick from, because WW has been nearly as unbeatable as Superman at times. When I last dipped my toe in the JLA waters, she could hold her own against Superman in a sparring match and also be pushed close to her limits by Batman. That means that either Superman really isn't all that strong or Batman makes Chuck Norris look like Alfred E. Newman (the goofy face of Mad Magazine for so many years).

Thanks, Deja Vu. I think Lois would be snarky if she had somehow fallen to the sidewalk with Luthor.

Carol, I'm not surprised you wrote this:

The feminist in me, of course, was a tad dismayed that 2 women are fighting to the death for a man. Always demeaning for both the women.
No it isn't.

Had the man in question arranged this little match for his own entertainment, then yes, I'd agree with you. If he were the prize for the winner, or if the winner were the prize for him, then yes, I'd agree with you.

But if he had nothing whatsoever to do with the fight, and if one woman were defending her family against an assault by the other, then it's not demeaning, it's justified. And I believe you'll understand when you get into the meat of the story. My wonderful betas (who will get well-deserved kudos) agree with me so far, and they're getting close to the end of the tale.

Thanks to all of you who've responded, and to all who have read the story.
