This story is still moving along quite nicely.
They are almost adapting to the gender thing too easily--gender is so much a part of a person's identity. But I really like everything that you have done with the plot.
One thing I have to thank you for: in spite of the title, no one has made a blonde joke anywhere. Those of us born with light-colored hair appreciate that. My husband feels compelled to tell me every blonde joke he hears.
