It amuses me how you've set this up so Lois has to remember which of 3 identities she's dealing with when it comes to Kal. I also like how you've switched things up - made Kal the person he is and Clark the afterthought, instead of how it was in the show with Clark as the person he is and Kal the afterthought. (Not an exact comparison, but close.)
I so want to see them both be able to open up to each other - it's great that Lois is the less-closed off one this time around.
I'm also hoping that she'll conveniently figure out she can trust Kal with her investigation!
