Leaving short to medium length FDK is OK as well. As for the length of the story, I could guess somewhere around fifty parts but considering how "slowly" she moves through topic lines (she hasn't touched on the Lex spying on Lois thing in two chapters, which is OK, Rachel) it could last into the 60's or 70's. It's all up to her.
I think, therefore, I get bananas.
When in doubt, think about time travel conundrums. You'll confuse yourself so you can forget what you were in doubt about.
