All caught up... Gotta say, I usually hate the de-aged trope because most people don't write kids well but you've got it spot on - he doesn't seem too babyish or too grown up. 5-year-old Kal is so perfectly 5.

I've really enjoyed this whole series. Thinking of going back to the beginning and rereading it. It's so much fun.
