Story

I've had this story sitting around for a few months now, and I finally got back to it today to polish it up. I wrote it in a fit of pique after reading yet another story where Lois blows up at Clark when he tells her that he's Superman, only for Clark to bow and scrape to get back into her good graces.

I understand why Lois would get mad about it, but I don't think that Clark should be a doormat when she does. So I wrote a reveal scene with a crazy-angry Lois where Clark retorts the way I always want him to.

"It is a remarkable dichotomy. In many ways, Clark is the most human of us all. Then...he shoots fire from the skies, and it is difficult not to think of him as a god. And how fortunate we all are that it does not occur to him." -Batman (in Superman/Batman #3 by Jeph Loeb)
