Holocaust survivor, Nobel laureate Elie Wiesel Dies at 87

Elie Wiesel's book Night is a staple of high school English classes, but I didn't read it until college. It's a very powerful book about the horrors of the Holocaust that Wiesel experienced.

One of the substitute teachers with the school district I work for was born just days after her mother was liberated from a concentration camp (which one, I don't know). She was pleased to see that the library had Night in the collection and says that what happened must never be forgotten.

"Oh, you can’t help that," said the Cat: "we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad."
"How do you know I’m mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn’t have come here.”
