Christina, Virginia, and Groobie- Yeah, it was harsh, but I hope it didn't take you out of the story. Characterization can be a tightrope sometimes. Michael - Dragons??? o_O Glad you're enjoying, though.  No, not at all to me. It might have been toeing the characterization line a little bit, but not at all out of context given Clark never grew up with a sibling to learn how to speak a little more tactfully.
CLARK: No. I'm just worried I'm a jinx.
JONATHAN: A jinx?
CLARK: Yeah. Let's face it, ever since she's known me, Lois's been kidnapped, frozen, pushed off buildings, almost stabbed, poisoned, buried alive and who knows what else, and it's all because of me.
