I enjoyed the article, especially the part on the cover of Parade about Superman and Lois Lane being pop culture's most enduring couple.

(Seriously, that whole attempt to pair Superman with Wonder Woman? No. Just ... no.) I've only seen one story where that worked, and that was Terry Leatherwood's story Not the Years But the Moments, and that worked because it showed the pairing as a natural progression instead of a ship.
