My year's worth of college French only goes so far.
I used Google Translate to read both of Poussin's stories. It worked well - I could tell there were things here and there that weren't exactly what the author intended, but it was certainly close enough to enjoy the stories.
When I was getting quotes for the quizzes, I actually went through the translated version to find passages that I thought were representative of the story as a whole, then went back and found those sections in the original French. I wanted to make sure that those stories were treated with equal respect to all of the other stories written this year.
