I actually read the ending back when you first posted, but I'm only now able to post a reply. I'm sure if I go back and re-read, I will find lots of lines just crying out to be quoted as favorites, but for now, the one thing that stayed in my mind was this. This made me smile. It's nice to see Lois now appreciates just how hard it must have been, what a vulnerable position Clark put himself in, what a leap he took for her. And Clark's confusion is adorable.
