I like the quizzes. This is only my 2nd year around so I have a limited experience with them.
I tried to participate in all of them last year with mixed success. This year, I have to admit that I did look at Quiz 1 and part of the reason for not participating was that I only recognized one story. We all need to get over being embarrassed at having trouble getting very many right.
For the WAFFY quiz, I kept going back to the eligible story list trying for inspiration. I spent well over an hour on the WAFFY quiz. Without that effort, I probably would have only gotten two right. (One of those being my own.
)
I am always in awe at the time the quiz team puts into the quizzes. I would hate to see them go, but can certainly understand that the low participation can make the effort seem not-worth-the-trouble.
So, I would love to see them continue and will try to participate in all the rest, but if they go away I understand and thank you for the effort to bring together what you have.
