That's why I was asking about YouTube (as an example). I know that YouTube uses JavaScript, and so if you tried to play a video there and it didn't work, it would probably be a JavaScript problem (that exists in Internet Explorer 8 on Windows 7).
Have you encountered any other website that complains about JavaScript not being enabled (or something like that)?
