I think it is Dean Cain's birthday one of these days, and since the people behind LnC apparently decided that Dean Cain's birthday would be Superman's birthday as well

Dean Cains birthday is July 31. According to the show, Clarks birthday is in Febuary and he came to earth and was found by the Kents on May 17, which I believe was the episode writers birthday.
