I've recently discovered the books of Suzanne Brockmann. I never liked contemporary romance fiction until I started reading her Navy SEALs books.
I just picked up a copy of PRINCE JOE by Brockmann for $1 at a thrift store. It's the first of her Tall, Dark and Dangerous series and so far, so good. She head hops a little in this book and I tend to be a POV purist so it bothers me. But maybe her style has changed since she wrote this in 1996. I got this because it was mentioned in a workshop I attended this summer (though for the life of me, I can't remember in what context
). I'm sure when I get to "that" section of the book, I'll remember.
