While the identity of Lois' husband is not really necessary to the story, it was heavily implied that Lois had been married to a certain, unusually honest, civil servant who was known to cross paths (and swords) with Lois on a regular basis. He just seemed like a guy who could fit the 'bill'.

Tank (who says many folcs did guess the identity when this little vignette was orginally posted... perhaps time has a way of allowing the side characters to fade from our minds)
