I did work on a short story a couple of weeks ago, but it wasn't set as any particular time of year, and it's still a WIP. I'll probably want to do a real Christmas themed story later on, as I do love holiday themed stories, but I'm mirred in my monster epic at the moment. Should I complete my short story, several of your prompts could easily be slipped in.
Acutally, now, that I think about it, tying the story to the holiday might give me the ending I've been missing.
Hmmmm. I'll have to play around with it and get back to you.
One question about the prompts, do you know if the actual word(s) need to be used or just implied by context?
