The frantic Driver blows the HORN, wrestles to get the car under control. Cars give wide berth and a crowd of pedestrians in a crosswalk scatter. A woman with a baby carriage remains in the crosswalk, frozen in horror. The truck bears down on her. Superman lands, blows a puff of super breath. Lady and Baby Carriage fly up out of harm's way as the truck barrels past. It SCREECHES around the corner. A blue BLUR streaks around the corner after it. A beat later, we hear a loud metallic THONK! 54 NEW STREET - THE TRUCK - SUPERMAN 54 The Truck has come to a halt against Superman's fist, which is buried in the grille. Out of the radiator pours STEAM. Superman goes around, wrenches the door open, addresses the dazed Driver. SUPERMAN You alright, sir? DRIVER It wasn't me, Superman... The car.... drove itself. 55 INT. REAR OF LIMOUSINE - CLOSE ON FAT HEAD 55 His car's stopped, and he glares furiously at this turn of events. FAT HEAD Him. DAILY PLANET - LOIS' DESK - ON PHOTOS - MORNING 56 We see a series of 8 x 10's of the rampaging Armored Car as we PULL BACK to find Lois going through the shots as we hear a frustrated Clark: CLARK I tell ya, it was the weirdest thing. First the guard gets knocked out with his own gun... Then the armored car takes off... And the driver said it was driving _itself_. LOIS Like the exercise bike moved by itself. And the prison gate moved by itself... Just as Klaus Mensa was released. By the way, I found out Klaus Mensa started this cult called Dynomonics. Superman BLURS off. The moment he's gone, Fat Head blinks and the bus stop sign snaps off him. A cop rushes toward him, but Fat Head nods at the controls. The driverless cop car SCREECHES OFF. 83 SIDE OF BUILDING 83 The end of the billboard comes into FRAME falling, falling. Superman BLURS up, grabs it. 84 STREET 84 Superman floats down, holding the huge billboard, which he eases down as the Lieutenant rushes up to him. LIEUTENANT Superman... We couldn't hold Fat Head. He's gone. 85 INT. SAM'S LAB - DAY 85 The four parents and Misha waiting tensely, Misha trying to tune something in on the speaker monitor. MARTHA What's going on? Can you tell? Suddenly, outside the door, the sound of FEET CLATTERING up the stairs. CAMERA WHIP PANS to the door. KEY TURNS in the lock, the door flies open. Fat Head steps into the room and takes us back to the four parents, now all playing dead. Misha has on the gas mask, which he pulls off, during: FAT HEAD Okay, I'm in big trouble. The parents sit up to look. SUPERMAN (to Misha) Alright, shut it down... MISHA I can't...! Something's happening! His mental strength is... amplifying the power of the machine...! ELLEN Wait a minute... His _parents_...?? _I_ know what the big secret is....! Suddenly waves of energy shoot from Fat Head's Fat Head and connect with the heads of everyone in the room but Superman. Everyone goes rigid, vibrating with the power that's hit them. Superman BLURS to the parents, and whisks them out of the room through the hole in the wall.
